Document Description
The project is limited to the decommissioning of dry ford crossing and the installation of a new bridge crossing to replace it. Dry Ford Decommissioning: The decommissioning of the existing dry ford crossing will consists of removing all the loose soil currently present within the stream channel as a result of vehicle traffic and recontouring the stream bank to match upstream and downstream contours. The exposed soils will be seeded and mulched and will have straw wattles installed prior to the first rain. Bridge installation: A 30-foot long prefabricated bridge with steel I-beam construction will be installed to replace the crossing.
