Document Description
The project shall replace an approximately 12-inch diameter, 0.9 mile long section of Gas Line 021C (L-021C), a natural gas pipeline. The replacement of L-21C will be performed primarily by directed burial in open trenches. At Santa Rosa Creek, an 800-foot section of pipe will be replaced via horizontal directional drilling (HDD) beneath Santa Rosa Creek. At this location, entrance and exit bore holes will be dug in landscaped areas no less than 200 feet from the Santa Rosa Creek bank and shall not impact riparian vegetation. A frac-out contingency plan has been prepared to respond and minimize potential impacts in the event of a frac-out that may impact Santa Rosa Creek. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0294-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
