Document Description
The Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to a group of white shark researchers led by Dr. Barbara Block from Stanford University and Dr. Salvador Jorgensen from Monterey Bay Aquarium, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for tagging adult and subadult white sharks in central and southern California waters. The Section 2081(a) permit authorizes incidental take of white shark during the course of the tagging study subject to terms and conditions set forth in the permit.
