Document Description
The purpose of the project is to decommission the existing wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater flows would then be transported from the Cascade Shores service area through a pipeline to a new community septic system. In the past, the WWTP has been unable to meet permit limits for copper effluents. The Project would lead to an elimination of discharge into Gas Cannon Creek, which in turn would reduce the amount of pollutants into the creek and meet discharge requirements for land applicant.
