Document Description
The Project includes several actions to restore wetland habitat by reducing sediment accumulation, water flow obstructions and flooding, and restoration of species' habitat at Sharp Park Golf Course in the City of Pacifica, San Mateo County. The project consists of removal of sediment and emergent vegetation with Horse Stable Pond (HSP) and the connecting channel that links HSP with wetland complex of Laguna Salada, realignment of an existing golf cart path located west of the #14 hole fairway away from the existing wetland, construction of a maintenance walkway approximately 4.6 feet in width on concrete support structures around the front of pump intake box at HSP, replacement of a failing wooden retaining wall next to the pumphouse with a concrete retaining wall, construction of steps from the access road to pumphouse and intake structure, construction of a perennial pond and removal of nonnative fish in Lake Arrowhead. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, Number 1600-2012-0412-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee, San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.
