Document Description
The DWR Delta Levees Program considered RD 341's mitigated negative in granting approval for reimbursement of costs of engineering, planning, construction, planting, and maintenance of over 600 acres of wetland and other habitat types. In electing to approve and fund this project, DWR reviewed plans, visited the project site, made recommendations to minimize environmental impacts, and ensured the lead agency performed its due diligence pursuant to the provisions of CEQA. DWR concurs with the lead agency's determination that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment because of the incorporation of suitable mitigation measures.
