- Document Description
- Bogle Vineyards request approval of a Use Permit, Variance, and Flood Hazard Development Permit to construct a simple large (1.6 megawatt generating) wind turbine at its wine production facility near the town of Clarksburg. The wind turbine will be located adjacent to the wastewater ponds used by the facility, within a fenced 2, 5000-square foot graveled area. The 1.6MW turbine will be approximately 263 feet in height (main shaft of the turbine) and 398 feet high with the blade in the twelve o'clock position. Bogie Vineyards will use the power the turbine generates for its production facility and will send any excess power to back feed the PG&E grid. All transmission lines will be placed underground.
