Bogle Wind Turbine Use Permit and Flood Hazard Development Permit

Note: Revised & Reissued The proposed project is a single large wind turbine that would generate 1.6 megawatts of electricity, to be used to power the large Bogle winery production facility near Clarksburg. The Bogle facility is located at 49762 Hamilton Road, west of Jefferson Blvd. (SR 84), approximately 4.5 miles southwest of Clarksburg. The proposed wind turbine would be constructed at the southwest corner of a 60-acre property, which is one of three adjacent parcels owned by Bogle (APN: 043-310-012). The wind turbine project will require approval of a Major Use Permit as described in Yolo County Code Section 8-2.2418 (Small and Large Wind Energy Systems). The application and proposed design of the project is consistent with the requirements of the Code section. The project will also require the issuance of a Flood Hazard Development Permit because the project is within the 100-year flood zone.
