Document Description
SWRCB, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The CalAm Water Company Amber Park proposed project includes replacing two existing 55,000 gallon water storage tanks with two 200,000 gallon water storage tanks to meet current maximum daily demands and fire protection. The 21 foot high tanks will be equipped with a float switch alarm system and pressure transducer to monitor water levels and connected to a SCADA system to communicate with the pump station that fills the tank. A 120 sq. ft. retaining wall will be built. A temporary tank will be placed on site during construction for 6-9 months while the permanent tanks are under construction. The project is within a visual sensitivity zoning district and will remove one 8 foot and one 20 foot oak tree. The project will extend the current easement the tanks fall within by 3,485 ft.
