Document Description
Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District (Rosedale, RRBWSD, District), as lead agency, has prepared and adopted Addendum No. 2 to the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), State Clearinghouse No. 2013091076, describing modifications made to the Stockdale Integrated Banking Project (Project) and subsequent addenda, as well as clarifying Rosedale’s Fallow Transfer Program pursuant to the District's Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) as required by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The FEIR evaluated potential environmental impacts from construction and operation of the Stockdale East and Stockdale West banking areas, as well as the Central Intake and the yet-to-be developed third project site. Portions of the third project site were identified in Addendum No.1 to the FEIR. This Addendum No. 2 to the FEIR further identifies and modifies portions of the third project site previously defined in Addendum No. 1. Modifications to the Project include the construction and operation of recharge and recovery facilities on the proposed portions of the third project site, referred to as the McCaslin Recharge Ponds and Bowling Recharge Ponds. Therefore, Addendum No. 2 to the FEIR analyzes the potential effects of constructing and operating portions of the third project site for recharge and recovery purposes within Rosedale’s Conjunctive Use Program and Rosedale’s Fallow Transfer Program.
