The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act section 41 water quality ceritification (Cert. No. R9-2018-0090) to the project applicant. The applicnt proposes to underground transmission lines along Circuit 449 that will have temporary impacts from trenching through a stream channel adjacent to Buckman Springs Rd. This project is part of a larger project to replace and reconductor existing power lines and distribution lines located within and outside of the Cleveland National Forest. All areas of disturbance are temporary impacts and will be recontoured to the original conditions and revegetated with native species when done.
