SDG&E's proposed MSUP/PTC Power Line Replacement Projects would consolidate over 70 existing special use permits for SDG&E facilities within the Cleveland National Forest (CNF) into one MSUP to be issued by the Forest Service. The MSUP would allow the continued operation and maintenance of approximately 102 miles of SDG&E's existing 69 kV transmission line (TL) also referred to as power lines, 12 kV circuits (C) also referred to as distribution lines and ancillary facilities, as well as approximately 34 miles of existing access roads require to maintain and operate SDG&E electric facilities within the CNF.
