SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing funds for the project. The City of Fresno proposes to construct an 80-MGD Southeast Surface Water Treatment Facility. The site is currently undeveloped, fallow farmland. The project will include construction of the following facilities: treatment process units for removing suspended material from the water (clarification and filtration), ozone disinfection, solids handling, process buildings, on-site storage facility for raw water, treated water storage, pump stations, chemical building, operations and maintenance, and power supply buildings. Landscaping, parking, fencing, and off-site improvements to streets and roads adjacent to the site are also part of the project.
