Document Description
The Stanislaus National Forest will install rock or fence barriers and closure signs at 17 specific loactions on the Mi-Wok Ranger District to protect sensitive resources. All activities will take place within the existing road or trail prism subject to the following conditions: 1) no mechanized equipment wil be used on sections of routes traveling through flagged archaeological sites until a Heritage REsource Specialist is consulted; 2) standard equipment cleaning measures will be used to minimize the introduction and spread of invasive plants; 3) no removal or trimming of elderberry bushes will take place.
