Document Description
The Stanislaus National Forest proposes to install rock or fence barriers and closure signs at 25 specific locaitons on the Mi-Wok Ranger District to protect sensitive resoruces. All activities will take place within the exisitng road or trail prism subject to the following conditions: 1) no mechanical equipment will be used on sections of routes traveling through flagged archaeological sites until a Heritage Resource Specilist is consulted. 2) standard equipment cleaning measures will be used to minimize the introduction and spread of invasive plants; and , 3) no removal or trimming of elderberry bushes will take place.
