The project includes activities associated with 32.1 miles of trail maintenance. Maintenance activities in this project include: a) removing road and trail side brush, b) cleaning plugged drainage structures such as culverts, dips, and lead off ditches, c) armoring stream crossings, d) placement of rock riprap, e) tread repair, f) blocking unauthorized routes, g) removing downed trees and boulders from roadways and trails, h) repairing and installing road and trail directional signs, i) performing condition surveys, j) reporting unsafe road and trail conditions or heavy maintenance needs, and k) trash removal.
