Document Description
The Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is proposing to remove approximately 1,600 feet of abandoned 8-inch gas pipeline, of which 525 feet crosses Potrero Creek and includes the removal of 6 pipeline supports (each with a 8.5" diameter, with one location having two supports). SoCalGas has determined that the exposed pipe and pipeline supports require removal due to safety concerns associated with the exposed pipe within Potrero Creek. In addition to the exposed pipe, additional lengths of the pipeline on either side of Potrero Creek will also be removed to prevent potential exposure in the future.
