Document Description
This project consist of geotechnical investigations for the purpose of gathering data to support prelimenary engineering for the California High-Speed Train (HST) Project Fresno to Bakersfield Section. To achieve this, 19 exploratory soil borings and 60 cone pentrometer test (CPT) soundings will be conducted within public rights-of-way along the proposed Fresno to Bakersfield HST alignment corridor. The borings and CPT soundings wil be completed using rigs positioned on or adjacent to paved areas, areas of native vegetation will not be affected. The data collected during this geotechnical investigation project will be presented and analyzed in a technical report. The California High-Speed Rail Authority will use the data to support procument.
