Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Gregg Lyman. The Project includes reclamation activity following unpermitted gold mining. The Project will consist of recontouring the streambed and banks to original slopes, by filling large holes and pits in the channel and evenly distributing the previously excavated native materials along the channel. The materials will be distributed in a way to match the composition of the adjacent areas of the creek. The recontoured areas will then be reseeded with locally native grasses. All work will be done in absence of surface flow. No trees will be removed as a result of this project.
