Document Description
The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery has committed $1.375 million to remove marine debris, abandoned vessels and barges, and dilapidated structures from the Oakland Estuary. The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery's contractor will remove and properly dispose of the abandoned vessels and illegally dumped marine debris. The hazardous waste and metal debris will be segregated from the waste stream and sent to the appropriate disposal and recycling facilities.
