Document Description
SAA #1600-2009-0216-R5 - The project is limited to maintenance of the LA-60 Ditch, a section of Diamond Bar Creek characterized as a trapezoidal concrete-lined channel (1,200 lineal feet, 20 feet bottom width, 48 feet top width), to return the facility to the design standard. The project will occur in two phases. Phase one will consists of vegetation removal outside of the nesting bird season. Phase two will consist of annual operations and maintenance during the life of the agreement to maintain design capacity and prevent flooding of adjacent residences. Annual operations and maintenance will consist of inspection of the channel at least once in the spring after the rainy season and once in the fall prior to the start of the rainy season each year to verify structural integrity.
