Document Description
The project includes the installation of a permanent concrete weir across the seepage ditch, in order to obtain accurate measurement of stream flows seeping out of the dam. The weir will be approximately 26 feet long, 3 feet high and 3 feet thick. The weir will be installed 3 feet deep into the soil. In addition to the weir, solar panels and automatic monitoring equipment will be installed on two (2) cement footings outside of the stream course. The monitoring equipment will take readings from a bubbler outlet installed just upstream of the weir, the bubbler outlet will require a small concrete support that will be installed in the bed of the channel. Stream flows will be diverted around the Project area during construction.
