Document Description
The project is limited to the repair of the bank up- and downstream of the existing sack concrete wall to prevent it from being further undercut by the creek flow. The Permitee notified the CDFW for Emergency Work on October 15, 2012, which included placement of 8-inch to 12-inch rock covered with larger 18-inch rock along the toe of the bank below the sack concrete wall to prevent further erosion along the bank and undercutting of the wall. The new rip-rap will be keyed into the bank upstream of the wall, and the bank downstream of the the wall will be graded back before the rock will be keyed in. Willows, alders or other native vegetation wil be planted on top of bank and within the rock rip-rap to help stabilize the bank. SAA #1600-2012-0455-R3.
