Note: EA/FONSI The project is located on the Campo Indian Reservation, north and south of I-8, near the rural communities of Campo, Cameron Corners, Live Oak Springs, Manzanita, and Boulevard, in eastern San Diego County. The Proposed Action consists of BIA approval of a WUI Hazardous Fuels Reduction Plan to protect the northwest boundary of the Reservation and the Williams Road in-holding; a WUI Hazardous Fuels Maintenance Plan for six existing corridors (the Northern, Southern, Church Road, Tecate, and Southwest (SW) Powerlink/SDG&E WUIs, and the Old Campo DSP), funding from the BIA's WUI Hazardous Fuel Reduction Program for the multi-year treatments; and implementation by the Campo Reservation Fire Protection District.
