Document Description
The request is for approval of a Use Permit for a freestanding outdoor advertising sign adjacent to I-5. The sign would have one face, 36 feet wide by 12 feet high, directed toward the southbound lanes of I-5. The request is also for approval of a Variance from the Zoning Code restriction for freestanding outdoor advertising signs of a maximum overall height of 50 feet. The proposed sign height is 68 feet. The Variance is requested because there is an 18-foot-high berm between I-5 and the proposed sign location which would limit the visibility of a 50-foot-high sign.
