Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0450-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board.
Project replaces a two-track railroad bridge with a three-track railroad bridge. The existing bridge is 230 feet long and the new bridge will be 240 feet long. The existing bridge is 30 feet wide and will be 55 feet wide. A cofferdam will be placed upstream and downstream of the construction area. The creek water between the cofferdams will be directed through a 18-24 inch pipe. Geo-grid and rock slope protection will be installed on slopes. Mitigation planting will occur within the rock slope protection. Tree root wads will be installed to deflect stream flows away from the bank and to provide habitat for aquatic and wildlife species.
