Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0297-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mark Davis, Calaveras County Department of Public Works.
Project consists of replacement of the existing bridge over Esperanza Creek with a new structure accommodating two 12 ft. lanes with 4 ft. shoulders.
Specific impacts associated with Esperanza Creek would include the temporary disturbance to 0.06 acres of riparian willow species, and the permanent impact to 0.03 acres of riparian willow species. Permanent impacts will be mitigated for at a minimum of 3:1 with approval from the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
