Document Description
The proposed project will replace the existing bridge over Esperanza Creek with a new structure accommodating two 12-foot wide lanes with 4-foot wide shoulders. The adjacent Wharregard Road will be realigned to avoid conflict with the new structure and provide improved site distance. The alignment of Rail Road Flat Road will be shifted to the north approximately seven feet to allow for staged construction of the new bridge. The roadway modifications associated with the shift in alignment will begin approximately 510 feet to the west of the new bridge and will conform approximately 345 feet to the east. The new bridge will be a precast prestressed concrete voided slab bridge totaling 50 feet in length and 35 feet in width, and will be a clear span over the creek.
