Document Description
The project proponent requests approval from the city of Pittsburg to construct a two-sided, LED, changeable copy billboard on a developed commercial parcel adjacent to SR 4, west of Century Blvd. Each face of the billboard would measure 19 feet tall by 34 feet long and would be situated atop a 32-foot tall steel column. The resulting sign and its support structure would have an overall height of 53 feet above grade and would be visible to both eastbound and westbound traffic on SR 4. The project would be developed in two phases, with the first phase including a static western sign face and LED eastern sign face, and the second phase incorporating two LED sign faces. Display on the sign would change every four seconds, and the sign would be used for general commercial advertising purposes.
