Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement NO. 1600-2016-0263-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Plumas County Department of Public Works. Project is limited to the replacement of an existing structurally deficient bridge over Spanish Creek. The current bridge is a two-lane clear span, steel pony-truss bridge with abutment walls comprised of precast bridge will occupy the same alignment as the existing structure. The new bridge will be approx. 80 feet long and 28 feet wide. The new bridge will consist of a cast-in-place; pre-stressed concrete box girder superstructure supported on seat type abutments and spread footings. Falsework will be utilized to construct the bridge. Improvements to the southern approach, which connects to Bucks Lake Road, will include construction of acceleration tapers on Bucks Lake Road; improvements to the northern approach would include reconstruction of 200 to 300 feet of Snake Lake Road.
