The project proposes to replace the existing timber and steel one-lane bridge on Retrac Way over Wolf Creek with a two-lane, prefabricated single-span (steel or concrete) bride measuring ~28 feet wide by 85 feet long. The new bridge will be on ~the same alignment as the existing bridge and elevated 2 to 3 feet above the existing grade to accommodate 100-year flood event(s). A bypass route, downstream of the existing bridge, would be constructed to maintain through traffic. The new bridge is needed because the existing one-lane wooden bridge is structurally deficient.
