CDFW has partnered with River Partners to conduct riparian vegetation and enhancement activities on 265 acres of riverside floodplain that are part of the 439-acre Abbott Lake Unit of the Feather River Wildlife Area located in Sutter County, CA. The Abott Lake Restoration project includes two phases in three areas. The project area consists of three distinct activity areas: the North Field, the South Field, and the Enhancement Area. The restoration planting will occur in two phases on 169 acres of the project area: the 150-acre South Field in Phase I, and the 19-acre North Field in Phase II.
