Document Description
The District is proposing to construct an approximately 1.2 million gallon (MG) water storage reservoir, pump station, control building, standby power generator, and other minor improvements. Access to the site would be provided by a maintenance driveway perpendicular to L Street. The project is being implemented to bring the water system fully into compliance with a California Department of Public Health Compliance Order requiring redundancy to be built into the system. Redundancy in the system would ensure that during an emergency, when a source may be off-line due to power or other issues, the system can still meet the minimum system requirements.
