Document Description
The project is the adoption and implementation of the Azusa 2014-2021 Housing Element, which represents an update of the City's certified Housing Element. The proposed Housing Element addresses future residential development to meet SCAG's RHNA allocation for the 2014-2021 planning period. The Housing Element is a policy document and does not authorize any particular design, plan, or project proposing construction of new or redevelopment residential units. The project also includes the adoption and implementation of amendments to the City Design, Geology Hazards, and Open Space/Biological Resources Elements to comply with AB 162 to provide additional information on flood hazards, as well as amendments to the Infrastructure Element to comply with SB 244 to provide information on disadvantaged unincorporated communities.
