Document Description
The Project includes the development, operation, and maintenance of 9 production wells, 3 injection wells, and associated pipelines, electrical power lines and roads on 12 well pads within an existing oilfield for the continued exploration, development, production, recovery and processing of oil and gas reserves.
The Project will result in impacts to 10.65 acres of San Joaquin antelope squirrel (Ammospermophilus nelsoni) and San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica) habitat including temporary impacts to 1.25 acres and permanent impacts to 9.4 acres. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of San Joaquin antelope squirrel and San Joaquin kit fox, which are designated as threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as reissued by CDFW to a new Permittee authorizes project related incidental take of San Joaquin antelope squirrel and San Joaquin kit fox subject to various conditions of approval that will, among other things, minimize and fully mitigate all the impacts of the authorized taking.
