Document Description
A CUP to allow the installation, operation and maintenance of an unmanned, wireless telecommunications facility located on an existing 33 foot 2 inch tall apartment building, on an 8,960 sf lot, in the RD1.5-1XL Zone and to allow the wireless facility antennas to have a maximum height of 35 feet 2 inches on the roof of the building, in lieu of the 1XL height limited of 30 feet.
The proposed facility consists of 3 GPS antennas, 3 sectors of wireless telecommunication antennas with 4 antennas per sector, for a total of 12 antennas, and 4 associated equipment cabinets. One antenna sector will be mounted on the northeast corner with (8) four-foot high antennas behind screening at the edge of the building. The other antenna sector will be located on the northwest side of the building and will be setback from the west property line by 5 feet. This sector will contain (4) four-foot high antennas. All equipment will be screened 2 feet above the existing parapet with FRP screening that will be textured and painted to match the existing building and located toward the rear of the building. The equipment cabinets, measuring a total of 300 sf, will be located at grade level on the east side of the building and screened with an eight-foot tall wrought iron fence.
