The project consists of an amendment to a lease agreement between the County of Riverside and Burrtec, and revisions to the site's Solid Waste Facilities Permit (SWFB) and Report of Facility Information (RFI) to expand an existing compost facility from ~35 to 40 acres, increase the amount of material received from 250 tpd to 985 tpd, which includes up to 200 tpd of C&D waste; increase the amount of grease trap liquids and gray water accepted form 12,500 gpd to 55,000 gpd, compost up to 450 tpd, expand days of operation from 6 to 7, and expand the compost area from 15 to 31.9 acres. relocate the scale and scalehouse and add a second scale, an employee breakroom, and maintenance building; and add an on-site wastewater system to support the new buildings.
