The project approvals includes a General Plan Amendment (GPA) , Specific Plan Amendment (SPA) and a Planned Development Permit for development of a 3.571-square-foot commercial center on a 1.7-acre site located on Iron Point Road within the Willow Springs Specific Plan Area. The proposed project includes a GPA to change the land use designation from OS (Open Space) to GC (General Commercial) and a SPA to change the underlying zoning designation from OSC (Open Space and Conservation District) to C-2 PD (Central Business, Planned Development District). A Planned Development Permit is being requested for development of a single-story, 3,571-square-foot retail commercial building.
