The California Department of Transporation is proposing to rehabilitate the water supply and on-site wastewater treatment system at the Honey Lake Safety Roadside Rest Area on 395 un Lassen County. The existing well water supply does not currently meet California Department of Health Services Standards, while the on-site wastewater treatment system is inadequate resulting in high levels of nitrates being discharged on-site.
