Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a lead agency for this proeject. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. Rite of Passage - Sierra Ridge proposes a project that includes the funding of water hauled in from an outside source and the capacity increase to the existing surface water treatment plant. The capacity increase will double the current capacity and includes the addition of four new slow sand filters and two new chlorine contact chambers. The increased capacity is necessary to met the current demands of the water system due to existing well failure.
