Document Description
Remove salt cedar (Tamarisk ramosissima) from the gravel bar forest interface in the William's Bar area of Humboldt Redwoods to protect the Eel River watershed from an invasive plant. Work will: * Cut two infestations of salt cedar(less than 0.1 acre) to the ground with chainsaws (chainsaw will only be used September 16 through January 31st). * Excavate up to two feet to remove root balls. Fill depressions with surrounding native materials. Native plants nextto the infestations will re-colonize the area. * Remove vegetation and take off-site to be burned
