Document Description
Conaway Preservation Group (CPG) proposes to temporarily transfer to San Luis and Delta Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) a total of 7,040 acre-feet of water made available by pumping groundwater in lieu of diverting surface water. CPG has petitioned for, and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has approved, a change in the place of use of the transfer water. CGV's Point of Transfer is located River Mile 12.0R on the Sacramento River. The transfer water will flow down the Sacramento River to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped by DWR at SWP Banks Pumping Plant and conveyed to SLDMWA's service area.
