Document Description
Tule Basin Farms, LLC (TBF) proposes to temporarily transfer to Dudley Ridge Water District (DRWD) and Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) collectively, a total of 3,097 acre-feet of water made available by pumping groundwater in lieu of diverting surface water. TBF has petitioned for, and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has approved, a change in the place of use of the transfer water. TBF's Point of Transfer will be Sacramento River Mile 81.9 of the West Borrow Pit of the Sutter Bypass. The transfer water will flow down the Sacramento River to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped at SWP Banks Pumping Plant and conveyed to DRWD's and KCWA's service area.
