Document Description
Reclamation District 1004 (RD1004) proposes to temporarily transfer to San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) a total of 6,314 acre-feet of water made available by pumping groundwater in lieu of diverting surface water. RD1004 has petitioned for, and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has approved, a change in the place of use of the transfer water. RD1004's Poing of Transfer will be at points of Contract with Reclamation. The transfer water will flow down the Sacramento River to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped by DWR at SWP Banks Pumping Plant and conveyed to SLDMWA's service areas.
