Document Description
The purpose of this project is to realign a section of Quarry Road in Ocotillo Wells SVRA to increase public safety and to eliminate the need for weekly road maintenance in the area known as the S-turns. The realignment would encompass the intersection as the northern end of Main Street and through to the Shell Reef Expressway as the Quarry Cover intersection and will be constructed as a full dimension access road for larger street legal vehicles (i.e. RV's and trailers). Excavation for the new road bed would entail a width of twenty-one (21') feet with the possibility of depths measured up to approximately twenty-four inches (24") and the cut material would be re-used in areas needing fill.
