Document Description
The project involves on-going training of Sonoma County fire agencies to control wildland fires. The project area is 5 acres of grassland on Steve Olsen Road outside Forestville, CA. The project area is entirely within State Responsibility Area. Numerous local government enginers will be used for the training burn and will be present for all burning activities. The proposed 5 acres is a field previously under cultivation. Threatened and endangered plant or animal species in the project area are confined to wetland zones and will not be impacted by the burning activity which will be conducted a minimum of 50 ft from all such areas.
