Note: Reference SCH# 2013012006 In a Remediation Plan, Tuleyome, Inc. (a California environmental nonprofit) proposes to conduct subsurface chemical treatment of a drain tunnel discharge, consolidate historic mine waste piles, improve runoff controls, enhance revegetation of waste rock and tailings, and improve existing infiltration trenches, all in an effort to improve water quality at historic mine sites that are currently causing water pollution issues. The Central valley Water Board's approval of the Remediation Plan will provide "good Samaritan" protection to Tuleyome pursuant to Chapter 5.7 of Division 7 of the Water Code.
