Document Description
The project is application for a Surface Mining Permit, CUP, Reclamation Plan, and Financial Assurance Cost estimate for a surface mining operation involving the extraction of up to 25,000 cy per year with a maximum of 30,000 cy over the life of the 15 year permit term. The permit will allow for on-going quarrying activity, including processing of pit run aggregate and stockpiling of screened aggregates and riprap. The site will also be used for incidental storage of imported construction material and County owned construction equipment. The site has previously been a permitted quarry site since 1998, and no additional land will be disturbed as a result of continued extraction, processing and stockpiling at the site.
