- Pacific Gas & Electric Company proposes to build a new 115/12 kilovolt (kV) distribution substation on a 4.11-acre parcel at 10789 Old Redwood Highway in the Town of Windsor, Sonoma County. The permanent fenced footprint of the substation would be approximately 2.6 acres. In addition to constructing and operating the substation, PG&E would work along Old Redwood highway, Starr Road, and Gumview Road. Approx. 1.5 miles of the existing Fulton No. 160 kV Power Line would be rebuilt replacing 39 wood poles with 38 wood poles and 1 steel pole and installing 2 new wood riser poles. Approx 1.8 miles of existing 12 kV distribution line would be reconductored; 44 wooden poles would be replaced with taller wood poles.
