Document Description
The UC Davis Campus Solar Power Plant (Project) is a proposed solar power plant to be located on the UC Davis south campus, south of I-80. The project would develop up to seventy acres for electrical power production using solar photovoltaic panels. The Project requires an amendment to the UC Davis 2003-2015 Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) to address land use at the proposed project site. The University is requesting that the Committee on Ground's and Buildings amend the 2003 LRDP to redesignate the 70.0 acre site to the Support land use designation, and to redesignate 70.0 acres from other land use designations to Teaching and Research Fields to maintain an equivalent amount of land in long-term agricultural use.
